About Rock for Life , Inc.What started out as a benefit show for Vandergrift fireman Mark Gregory in 2000, Rock For Life, a not-for-profit Benefit Concert Event, is now entering its eighth year of raising money for victims of cancer and other serious medical conditions. Past recipients of this benefit have also included Christina Calendrella of Avonmore (2001), Jonathan Beck of Avonmore (2002), The Helping Hands Society (2003), Jasmine Henry of Vandergrift (2004), Alexander Hooks of Ford City (2005), and Owen Hunter of Leechburg (2006).
